To provide a joining structure of a steel pipe pole reduced in cost, and the steel pipe pole joined thereby.
The joining structure includes: a lower steel pipe 2a which has, on the upper end of the steel pipe, an upper flange 3 of a diameter equal to or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the steel pipe with a plurality of bolt-insertion holes 4 in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral side of the steel pipe; an upper steel pipe 2b which has, on a lower end of the steel pipe having a diameter smaller than that of the lower steel pipe 2a, a lower flange 7 of a diameter equal to that of the upper flange 3 of the lower steel pipe 2a with a plurality of bolt-insertion holes 8 on the outer peripheral side of the steel pipe corresponding to the bolt-insertion holes 4 at the upper flange 3 of the lower steel pipe 2a, and an upper flange 10, which is provided to the upper end of the steel pipe, of the diameter equal to or slightly larger than that of the outer diameter of the steel pipe, with a plurality of bolt-insertion holes in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral side of the steel pipe; and bolts 15 which are inserted from the inside of the lower steel pipe 2a into the bolt-insertion holes 4, 8 provided to the upper flange 3 and the lower flange 7 of the upper steel pipe 2b, so as to integrally join both the lower and upper steel pipes 2a, 2b.
