Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save labor in the construction work of a tunnel by easily joining members such as segment together.
CONSTITUTION: A joining bar 2 made of soft steel is provided in one segment 3b of segments 3 to be joined together. A joining tool 1 which fixed the joining bar 2 is provided in the other segment 3a. A plurality of locking plates 5 which have a hole section 11 at the center, are formed in the annular shape, and are inclined toward the center are arranged in a housing 4 embedded in the segment 3a in a condition in which they are accumulated along the axial direction and the direction of inclination is toward the forward side in the direction of fitting of the joining bar 2.
