Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining type rod which prevents the concentration of stress in a small rod pipe in a joined portion without inhibiting the flexibility of a fishing rod as much as possible.
SOLUTION: This joining type rod is characterized by having a low rigid portion where the flexural rigidity of the tip portion 12S of a large diameter rod pipe 12 is not more than the flexural rigidity of a small diameter rod pipe 10 at the same position in a state that the hollow small diameter rod pipe 10 is joined to the large diameter rod pipe 12, controlling the flexural rigidity of the low rigid portion of the large diameter rod pipe in the joint portion near to a butt section to a value within a range of 30 to 100, when the flexural rigidity of the small diameter rod pipe at the same position is 100, and gradually enlarging the ratio from the butt section to the tip section, while allowing the same case.
