To provide a method for manufacturing a joint body which enables good jointing between conductive joint members of different kinds as well as of the same kinds in comparatively low temperature conditions, and to provide the joint body.
The first conductive joint member 1 being formed with an insulating layer 3 on a surface thereof and the second conductive joint member 2 are provided. The second joint member 2 is brought into contact with the surface of the insulating layer 3 on the first joint member 1, and both members 1 and 2 are then subjected to heating. In this state of being heated, DC voltage is impressed onto the first joint member 1 and the second joint member 2, thereby anodicllay jointing the insulating layer 3 and the second joint member 2 together to attain integration of the two members 1 and 2. Since the integration is achieved by anodically jointing the insulating layer 3 and the second joint member 2, jointing can be carried out in comparatively low temperature conditions. This can reduce deformation caused by thermal distortion at the time of jointing. Further, both of the members 1 and 2 can be firmly integrated even when their materials are of different kinds as well as when they are of the same kinds.
