Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint body, a seat frame for automobile and a joining method capable of joining a tabular member and a pipe-like member firmly and capable of reducing weight.SOLUTION: A joint body includes: a thin plate in which a plurality of through-holes are formed along an outer periphery; a first member having a base part in which one part comes into contact with the thin plate, and a protrusion part protruding with respect to a contact surface coming into contact with the thin plate of the base part and inserted in the through-hole; and a second member arranged on the opposite side from the base part via the thin plate, and made of the same material as the first member. The thin plate is made of a material whose specific gravity is smaller than that of the materials constituting the first member and the second member. The second member and an end part of the protrusion part on the opposite side from the side connected to the base part are connected by one part of them being melted and solidified respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
