To provide a joint connector installation structure in which dislocation of mutually facing positions between joint connectors can be absorbed.
As a connector housing 14 of a joint connector 12 is applied to an engagement port 27 of a connector housing 26 of a joint connector 25, the joint connector 12 is guided by a guide inclination surface 29 formed on an aperture peripheral edge of the engagement port 27. An engagement claw 17 of an installation plate 13 is movable laterally and vertically in an engagement hole 7 of a fitting part 5, so a position of the installation plate 13 fitted in the fitting part 5 is corrected to correctly face the joint connectors 12, 25 with each other. Dislocation of a facing position of the joint connector 12 to the joint connector 25 is thus absorbed simultaneously as switch units 22, 24 are assembled to a body 1, thereby each terminal 28 can be surely pierced into each female terminal 15.
