Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector that can suppress increase of contact resistance at the contact portion between a female terminal and a male terminal.SOLUTION: A joint connector has a joint terminal 20 having plural male terminals 22 which are integrally arranged side by side, female terminals 10 which are connected to the terminals of electric wires W and individually engagedly connected to the male terminals 22, a housing 30 having plural arranged cavities 31 in which the female terminals 10 are inserted from the back side, a lance 32 which is provided in each cavity 31 and is elastically fitted to the female terminal 10 to retain the female terminal 10, and a terminal insertion groove 40 which is provided to the housing 30 and in which the joint terminal 20 is insertable from the front side, whereby the male terminal 22 is mounted and retained in the terminal insertion groove 40 while the male terminal protrudes in the corresponding cavity 31. The joint terminal 20 is mounted to be movable in the front-and-rear direction in the terminal insertion groove 40.
