Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector that is able to firmly receive force applied to each terminal during fitting or separation of a mating connector.SOLUTION: A joint connector 1 comprises: a connector housing 2 for fitting a mating connector thereto; a circuit board 6; a plurality of terminals 12 to 14 bent in the shape of L, one ends 12a to 14a of which are arranged in the connector housing and the other ends 12b to 14b of which are connected to the circuit board; and a terminal hold block 8 fixed to the circuit board and having terminal insertion parts 9 to 11 into which the plurality of the other terminals are inserted. External faces 12b2 to 14b2 of the plurality of the other terminals in the respective fitting directions of the mating connectors thereof are in contact with the internal faces 41e to 43e of the terminal insertion parts in the respective fitting direction of the mating connectors thereof. The external faces 12b1 to 14b1 of the plurality of the other terminals in the respective separating directions of the mating connectors thereof are in contact with the external faces 41d to 43d of the terminal insertion parts in the respective separating direction of the mating connectors thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
