Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance installing workability of a joint terminal.
CONSTITUTION: A slipping-out preventive locking part 16 symmetric in its lengthwise direction is opened and arranged in respective connecting ports 11 in a housing 10. An elastic slipping-out preventive part 23 and an excessive insertion preventive part 24 making symmetrically a pair in its inserting direction are arranged on a joint terminal 20. Even if the joint terminal 20 is inserted from either connecting ports 11, since both the elastic slipping-out preventive part 23 and the excessive insertion preventive part 24 lock on the slipping-out preventive locking part 16, the joint terminal 20 can be held in a prescribed installing position. Since there is no need of work to confirm the connecting ports 11 to be inserted by looking in the housing 10 from the connecting ports 11, installing workability of the joint terminal 20 is improved.
