PURPOSE: To simplify the fitting/removal of joints provided over the whole length of the belt width of a conveyor belt and prevent foreign matter from being retained at a connecting part by fitting parallel protruding streak parts and recessed streak parts to each other for connection.

CONSTITUTION: In joints 2 provided at both longitudinal ends of a conveyor belt, over the hole length of belt width, protruding streak parts 3 are provided at the respective tips, recessed parts 4 of such shape that the other mate protruding streak parts are engaged with them in close contact are provided slightly inward, parallel with the protruding streak parts 3, and joint parts 8 are provided at the respective other ends. The joints 2 are respectively jointed to the end parts of the belt by heat welding or the like, upward at one end of the belt and downward at the other end. The protruding streak part 3 of each joint 2 is formed into mushroom shape with approximately triangular cross section at the tip and having a bulge part 5, while the recessed streak part 4 is formed of a recessed part 6 into which the other party protruding part is fitted, and a hook claw part 7 with which the other party bulge part 5 is engaged. When the belt is made into ring shape and the protruding streak part 3 and recessed streak part 4 are pressed, the bulge part 5 is locked by the hook claw part 7.
