To provide a joint for a dryer canvas which enables formation of a dryer canvas adapted for running at a high speed in a single run system.
In a joint for a dryer canvas, warps extended by removing wefts at the both ends of a dryer canvas main body having not less than double-ply of woven texture are folded in a direction from a non-paper-contacting surface side to a paper-contacting surface side of the main body, and in groups composed of extended warps A12 and B14 adjacent to each other, the warps A12 are twisted by 180° at a depth of, for example, 1/8-3/8 of the thickness of the dryer canvas main body from a surface of the paper-non-contacting surface side, and the warps B14 are twisted by 180° at a depth of, for example, 3/8-5/8 of the thickness of the dryer canvas main body from a surface of the paper-non-contacting surface side, so that twisted positions of the warps A12 and B14 are different in the thickness direction of the canvas main body.
