Title:
JOINT MATERIAL CAUSING CONCRETE CRACK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3765614
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely cut off water at a low cost, by fitting a fitting part in a segment joint of a structure and arranging the wedge-shaped front end at the opposite direction against the segment joint and bring about cracks in the extended direction of the front end.
SOLUTION: Cracks are brought about on the secondary lining concrete wall or a shield tunnel having the first lining and the second lining and the joint material is provided with a cut-off function. In this case, the fitting part 2 of the joint material bringing about concrete cracks can be connected to the wedge part 3 through a recessed part. A projection is arranged in the wedge 3 to facilitate the connection work. The joint material 1 bringing about cracks is firmly put in the first lining segment and even when the joint width of the segment varies, the function is prevented from decreasing. In this way, the joint material can be easily produced at a low cost and it can be arranged in a concrete structure or on the secondary lining concrete wall of a tunnel or the like especially constructed by a shielding method.
