Abstract:
To provide a joint part leak-prevention device capable of maintaining waterproof properties on an abutment face of a leak-prevention member, in regard to the joint part leak-prevention device fitted to a joint part of an existing pipe over the circumferential direction so as to be watertight and preventing water leakage in the joint part.
The abutment face 9a of the leak-prevention member 9 in the fitted state to the joint part 3 is provided with an inclined cut face R inclined at a predetermined second angle θ2 so as to increase the area compared to that of a cut face Q inclined from a pipe axial plane x-z including a pipe axis z of the existing pipe with respect to the direction of the pipe axis z at a predetermined first angle.
