Abstract:

To provide a joint placing device for easily and rapidly performing the piling construction of bricks or the like in fine appearance in view of a possibility of causing the fall and dislocation of a ruler and requiring separate finishing work due to the roughness of a ruler abutting face in conventional joint placing work wherein mortar is placed with the wooden ruler abutting on the brick.

This joint placing device is composed of a pair of square bars and a connector, and fixtures of inverted L-shape mounted to the respective square bars are expansively overlapped and fixedly connected. As an ideal embodiment, a joint placing implement is composed of a pair of square metal bars made of stainless steel or the like, and the fixtures of inverted L-shape mounted to the upper parts of the respective square bars by welding. A groove is cut out in one of the fixtures of inverted L-shape, while two through holes are provided in the other, and the fixtures are overlapped above the square bars and expansively connected and fixed with bolts.
