To provide a joint for resin pipe connection that can preclude an operational error in connecting work and thus eliminate reconnecting work, and can prevent an intrusion of rainwater and the like from the outside into a spigot cylinder portion of a joint body inserted in a resin pipe and thus maintain a seal condition for a long period.

The joint comprises a spigot cylinder portion 52 inserted in an end of a resin pipe 10, and a movable sleeve 60 mounted on the spigot cylinder portion 52 and forcibly moved toward the resin pipe 10 mounted on the spigot cylinder portion to thus compress the periphery of the resin pipe 10 against the spigot cylinder portion 52. The movable sleeve 60 is provided with seal packing 65 for providing a seal between the spigot cylinder portion 52 and the end of the resin pipe 10 mounted on the spigot cylinder portion. The spigot cylinder portion 52 has biting teeth 53 for locking the internal surface of the resin pipe 10, and is provided with a seal ring for sealing the internal surface of the resin pipe.
