To increase the strength including the compressive strength of a joint part by filling the defective section of the joint part of a column with a solidifying agent.
Storage parts 20, 21 capable of storing a joint metal fitting 1 from the lower surface (joint end surface) 16 of the column (second bar-like member) 15 are formed. The joint metal fitting 1 is fixed to the upper surface 12 of a base (first bar-like member) 11 with screws 28 (a). The column 15 is placed on the upper surface 12 of the base 11, the joint metal fitting 1 (including the heads of the screws 28) are stored in the storage parts 20, 21, and the gap 26 is formed in the storage part 20 (b). Next, a drift pin 29 extending through a pin hole 23 of the column 15 is inserted through the joint metal fitting 1. A liquid solidifying agent 31 is injected into the gap 26 inside the storage part 20 to constitute the joint structure 40 of the base 11 and the column 15 after the solidification (c).
