Abstract:
To provide a joint structure which can prevent a gasket from being excessively fastened while achieving simplification of a joint member, and to provide an assembly method of the joint structure.SOLUTION: A joint structure 1 includes: a first joint member 2; a second joint member 4; a gasket 6 disposed between the first joint member 2 and the second joint member 4; and a retainer 7 including a first retainer 71 attached to an outer peripheral surface of the first joint member 2 and a second retainer 72 detachably attached to the first retainer 71. A butted end surface 24 of the first joint member 2 is provided with: a first contact area 25 with which the first retainer 71 contacts; and a first projection 26 pressed to one end surface of the gasket 6. A butted end surface 43 of the second joint member 4 is provided with: a second contact area 44 with which the second retainer contacts; and a second projection 45 pressed to the other end surface of the gasket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
