Abstract:
To provide an inspection method which can shorten a construction period of a joint structure of a transport pipe, and the joint structure.SOLUTION: In an inspection method of a joint structure of a first transport pipe and a second transport pipe which are constituted of thermoplastic resins for transporting fluid, a socket part 5 possessed by the second transport pipe is inserted into a receptacle part 4 possessed by the first transport pipe, an inner face of the receptacle part 4 and an outer face of the socket part 5 are sealed to each other by thermal fusion in a first position of the receptacle part 4 inserted into the socket part 5, and after sealing the receptacle part 4 inserted with the socket part 5 and the socket part 5 in a third position in which a position in a pipe axial direction is a tip side of the receptacle part 4 rather than the first position, a space between the receptacle part 4 and the socket part 5 being a gap part 13 between the first position and the third position is pressurized or decompressed through an inspection hole 8 which is arranged at the receptacle part 4 in a second position in which the position in the pipe axial direction is located between the first position and the third position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
