Abstract:
To evade the adverse influence that copper cladding for brazing exerts on a weld zone.
Copper plating of a header plate 121 made of stainless steel of a heat exchanger necessary for brazing of the header plate 121 and a tube consisting of a copper-base material is performed only for a surface provided with a tube insertion hole 121a to be inserted with the tube and the copper cladding is not performed on a rim erecting part 121b which is required to weld a header tank body.
