PURPOSE: To quickly and safely execute the positioning of a roof panel, and to simultaneously secure the waterproofing mechanism of the joint part of the roof panel, and moreover to make the execution of the roof panel possible without injuring its outside appearance.
CONSTITUTION: Tie metal fittings 4 severally having an engaging part 4A which has elasticity and a cross directional section formed in an about wave form so as to be mutually fitable are attached to the side end edge of a roof panel 1. The engaging parts 4A of the tie metal fittings severally protrude from the side end edge of the roof panel toward the outside of the roof panel 1, and are positioned at the side of a tile member 6 spreadly provided on the upper face of a roof panel body 5. The engaging parts 4A of the tie metal fittings 4 on a pair of roof panels 1 adjacently provided so that the side end edge of the roof panel may be parallel to the direction of the eaves ridge of a building are mutually fitted to provide a fitting part 7 between the side end edges of the mutually adjacent roof panels, and a joiner 3 is press-fitted in the fitting part 7 so as to pack it.
