Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rust performance between both jointed members while assuring joint strength between two members for a vehicle, with ease at a low cost.SOLUTION: A mastic sealer 4 in which zinc powder is mixed by 20-60 wt.% is applied linearly along length direction, for jointing a reinforcement 3 to an outer panel 1. Thus, with a so-called lump generated at an application start point and an application end point of the mastic sealer 4, even if water remains in a region surrounded with lumps of the outer panel 1, the reinforcement 3, and the mastic sealer 4, occurrence of rust is suppressed by sacrifice corrosion-proof effect of zinc in the mastic sealer 4.
