A joint structure is formed by a tapered elastic cylindrical body 3 securely fitted into a block hole 21 in a manhole block 2, a cylindrical collar member 4 closely fitted therein, and a pipe member 5 slidably passed therethrough. A rubber ring 8 is secured to the outer peripheral surface of the pipe member 5 near its end so that the pipe member 5 can be held watertight even when moved axially with respect to the collar member 4.
