Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint type instrument holding arm capable of obtaining large fixing force by small actuating force.SOLUTION: Since a ball body 6 can be sandwiched between a pressing body 11 and a tip opening 8 of a housing 7, strong fixing force of a joint part 4 is obtained even by the pressing body 11 having small actuating force. Especially, since the pressing body 11 has a cup shape allowing a circumferential edge e to have a line contact with the surface of the ball body 6, engaging force of the pressing body 11 to the surface of the ball body 6 is strong.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
