Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint width adjustment jig with which a joint width can be adjusted without breaking an exterior material, and inspection and adjustment of the joint width can be both performed.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a joint width adjustment jig 1 for adjusting a width of a joint M. The joint width adjustment jig 1 includes a force action part 11 serving as a point of action to which a force is applied, and an adjustment part 12 which is a long-sized body extending therefrom and has a force point for applying force to an inner wall surface of the joint M formed. A sectional shape of the adjustment part 12 at the position as the force point has a plurality of diameters, and the adjustment part 12 is rotated after being inserted into the joint M while a direction of the shortest diameter is set to the width direction of the joint M, so that the joint width is increased by that the direction of the longest diameter of the adjustment part 12 is set to the width direction of the joint M.
