Abstract:
To provide a joint for a straight tube type measuring instrument, which can be freely expanded and contracted to improve workability at the time of installation.SOLUTION: A joint 100 that connects a straight tube type measuring instrument and a pipe in which fluid to be measured flows linearly from an inflow port to an outflow port, comprises: a pipe connection part 111 connected to the pipe; a union brim 114 with one end inserted into the pipe connection part 111; a retaining part 112 that is fastened to the pipe connection part 111, and holds the union brim 114 so that the same does not come out of the pipe connection part 111 after allowing the same to move axially; and a union nut 113 that is fastened to either the outflow port 12 or the inflow port of the straight tube type measuring instrument, into which the other end side of the union brim 114 is inserted, and that holds the union brim 114 so that the same does not come out. The joint comprises a rib 114G and a groove 112C that make the union brim 114 non-rotatable around the axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
