Abstract:
To provide a natural drug which has no stimulus and side effects to the skin and the mucosa.
Jojoba oil, which is a natural product and extracted from the seeds of a jojoba tree, comprises the straight-chain ester of a monovalent saturated long-chain fatty acid and an aliphatic alcohol. This product is not stimulant and allergic to the skin and the mucosa. Characteristically, the oil supplies the skin with smoothness, moisture and calmness and has antibacterial activity, anti-inflammatory effect and anti-oxidation activity. The jojoba oil has very high therapeutic activity, promotes the circulation of the blood and deeply infiltrates into the dermis layer.
