Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a Josephson device wherein a Josephson junction excellent in characteristics and short in weak link length can be easily and stably provided.
CONSTITUTION: A lower electrode 1 and an upper electrode 3 both of superconductor thin film are laminated through the intermediary of an insulating film 2, one side face S of the laminated three-layered structure where the end faces of three layers are flush with each other on the same plane, and a bridge 4 forming a weak juncture is provided to the side face S where the end faces of three layers are flush with each other.
