Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a journal bearing device capable of forming a small-sized bearing part for a connecting rod.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a journal bearing device having a connecting rod constituted to be rotatable around an axial line of a journal pin in which the journal pin and the connecting rod are constituted to satisfy a relation of D0>D1 and a relation of D0>D2 where a minimum value of a clearance between a part of the bearing surface belonging to the central part of the bearing and an outer circumferential surface of the journal pin is defined as D0, a minimum value of a clearance between a part belonging to one side over-hang part of the bearing surface and an outer circumferential surface of the journal pin is defined as D1, a minimum value of a clearance between a part belonging to the other side over-hang part of the bearing surface and the outer circumferential surface of the journal pin is defined as D2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
