Title:
JOURNAL BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60252820
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve high-precise rotation performance in a non-contact manner, by a method wherein a shaft body part and a magnetic pole, located to opposing side to a bearing part, which are both radially magnetized, are set to the same polarity. CONSTITUTION:A shaft body part 1 comprises a rotary shaft 3 and a cylindrical first magnet part 4 engaged outwardly with the outer peripheral part of the rotary shaft. The first magnet part 4 includes a cylindrical tightening ring 5, a permanent magnet piece 6, secured between the ring 5 and the rotary shaft 3, and a non-magnetic member 7 which is located adjacent to the permanent magnet piece 6 between the ring and the rotary shaft. A bearing part 2 comprises a cylindrical second magnet part 9 attached to the bearing body in a manner to surround the first magnet part 4. The second magnet part 9 comprises a cylindrical outer tightening ring 10, an inner tightening ring 11 attached to the inner side of the outer tightening ring, a permanent magnet 12, secured between the two rings 10 and 11, and a non-magnetic member 13 located adjacent to the permanent magnet 12 between the rings. The two magnet parts 4 and 9 are radially magnetized so that the opposing sides have the same polarity.
