Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain journal processing with respect to an optional terminal device at all times by providing a storage device storing a copy of journal data of a terminal device associated with a terminal controller. CONSTITUTION:The terminal system conducting the journal processing consists of a magnetic disc 7 being an external storage device and a terminal controller 1 having a floppy disc 8 and a terminal device 2 connecting a floppy disc 6 and a printer 5. The disc 6 is a storage device collecting the journal information of the device 2, the disc 7 extracts the journal information on the disc 6 and stores it temporarily when the disc 6 of the device 2 is occupied or a daily job is finished. A disc 8 stores the copy of the journal information on the disc 7 and stores in permanently. The journal processing with respect to an optional terminal device is attained at all times by providing the discs 7, 8 in this way.
