Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of judgment of partial discharge by learning a neural network by using the signal corresponding to the site where various kinds of high-voltage apparatuses are actually installed.

CONSTITUTION: The signal from a partial-discharge measuring instrument 7 is inputted into an on-site signal synthesizing circuit 14. The output signal of the circuit 14 is discriminated with a neural network 8. A CV cable containing voids is formed. The partial discharge signals detected in the cable are recorded in a magnetooptical disk. At the site, where the cable is actually laid, the cable noise signals under the unloaded state of electric power (noises from the outside) are measured. The noise signals are measured for N days at the interval of 10 minutes, and the total noise of each measuring time zone is recorded. The signal, which is obtained by combining the initial partial discharge signal with the noise signal at each measuring time zone, is made to learn in the network 8. When the partial discharge of the power cable in the active line state is measured by using the network 8, the measurement can be performed by using the network corresponding to the respective measuring time. Therefore, the judging accuracy is improved.
