Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rationally mass-produce juice with high quality from both citrus fruits and non-citrus fruits by actuating a press plunger in a cup, and squeezing the juice simultaneously when a fruit to be processed is compressed and is pushed out of an orifice tube. CONSTITUTION: A fruit lift 96 picks up a single apple from an arrangement, and places it on a loading guide 22, and the loading guide 22 guides the apple, and drops it in a lower cup 66. At this time, an upper cup driving arm 26 is driven downward, and simultaneously pushes down an upper cup 32 and a press plunger 34, and squeezing is started. Sufficiently crushed apple pulp is squeezed by an orifice tube 90 in a strainer tube 80. Juice from the apple pulp is pushed out of through holes 86 and openings 82 of the strainer tube 80, and is collected in a juice collecting manifold 72, and is transferred to a collecting tank through a discharge tube.
