To provide a juicer with which the opening of the material supply part can be made relatively large while avoiding a cutter part coming into contact with a hand from the material supply part.
The juicer is provided with: a separating basket 6 having a cutter 5 and rotated and driven by a motor 2; a lid 8 covering the separating basket 6 and having the material introducing opening 7 facing the cutter 5; a pushing in rod 1 introducing into and retracting from the material introducing opening 7; and a piece of stop plate 11 arranged in the material introducing opening 7, opening the material introducing opening 7 when put the pushing in rod 1 into the material introducing opening 7, and closing the material introducing opening 7 when withdrawing the pushing in rod 1 from the material introducing opening 7; wherein the hand can not enter by the stop plate 11 when withdrawing the pushing in rod 1, thereby enabling the opening of the material introducing opening 7 to be relatively large.
