In a jumper device 11, which electrically connects transmission lines 2 anchored to the steel crossarm 1 of a steel tower via anchor clamps 3 and tension insulator strings 6 on both sides of the steel tower to each other, through a jumper conductor 5 both ends of which are electrically connected to the clamps 3, short stranded conductors 14 are compressively connected to jumper sockets 4 joined to the clamps 3, and at the same time, the conductor 5 having attaching/detaching clamps 15 which can be attached to and detached from conductors 13 at both ends is fixed to the conductors 13, and the lines 2 on both sides of the steel tower are electrically connected to each other via the conductor 5. Since the work for opening and reconnecting the jumper device 11 can be carried out via the work for attaching and detaching the clamps 15 attached to the conductor 5 to and from the conductors 13, the work can be carried out easily and efficiently. Therefore, system division work can be made quickly. In addition, since a conventional socket can be used for the jumper socket 4, this work can also be applied easily to existing jumper devices.
