To provide a junction bolt capable of easily inserting a bolt without any stress, and securing necessary strength for both shearing force and axial force, and a junction method using the junction bolt.SOLUTION: A junction bolt 10 comprises: a head part 12; a shaft part 13 provided on the head part side; an adjustment part 15 provided on a tip part side of the shaft part; and a screw part 16 provided on a tip side of the adjustment part. An axial length of each of the shaft part and the adjustment part is equivalent to the total thickness of a plurality of members 50, 51 to be joined. A shaft diameter of the shaft part and a screw diameter of the screw part are equal to or greater than a dimension obtained by subtracting an allowable clearance from a diameter of a bolt insertion hole 52 and less than the diameter of the bolt insertion hole. A shaft diameter of the adjustment part is equal to or greater than a diameter that becomes an effective cross-sectional area of the screw part and less than the shaft diameter of the shaft part. A tapered part 14 is provided at a boundary between the shaft part and the adjustment part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
