To detect half-insertion of a cable terminal after directly inserting it into a cavity provided in a junction box.
An oblong longitudinal bus-bar is stored in the case of the junction box, and a cable connection block is protruded which has a plurality of cavities for insert-latching the cable terminal on a case external surface at the longitudinal bus-bar. A pair of clamping pieces of the terminal insert- latched in each of the cavities is fitted to the longitudinal bus-bar for electric connection. A lance is cut in a side wall of each of the cavities of the cable connection block. If the terminal is in a half-inserted condition without a latching pawl protruding to the cavity side of the lance being inserted into a latching recessed section of the terminal, the lance protrudes so as to be pulled outward, thus detecting the half-insertion of the terminal.
