Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a junction structure and a method between a column and a beam that enables an outer diaphragm to be fitted on the column without welding, and offering excellent stress transmission performance at a time of earthquake.SOLUTION: In a junction method between a column and a beam that connects a steel pipe column 5 with an H-section steel beam 3 using an outer diaphragm 1, a beam plate 22 of a divided diaphragm 2 obtained by dividing the outer diaphragm 1 into a plurality of parts is fitted on flanges 31, 33 of the H-section steel beam 3, a column plate 23 provided on an edge part of the beam plate 22 is brought in contact with the steel pipe column 5, and a junction surface between the divided diaphragms 2 is disposed near a corner part 5a of the steel pipe column 5. A bolt 25 and a nut 26 are used for fixing, such that only the column plate 23 of one of the divided diaphragms 2 comes into contact with each surface of the steel pipe column 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
