PURPOSE: To output a KANJI (Chinese character) on a CRT display and also to output audio output relating to the KANJI, by providing a table which can link a KANJI code, a KANJI font and an audio pattern.

CONSTITUTION: Data in Figure are edited at the inside of a CPU. A KANJI processing controller receives the data from a CPU BUS interface, and first searches the JIS C-6226 code 31 to find out the code 3517. Then, the coincidence of reading code is taken to the code, and addresses having the font of "Tan(in KANJI)" and the audio pattern of "Tan" are indexed, and the font is transferred to a refresh memory of a CRT and the audio pattern is transferred to an audio controller. The processing of the next 1833 code is similarly repeated. The display of "Tan-Ka-Nyuryoku(unit price input)" is done on the CRT display and the output of "unit price input" is done in voice.
