To provide a lyrics telop display system that is very suitable for assisting a singer in singing and functions as a lyrics telop display system and clearly displays a background image etc., when a lyrics telop is not necessary.

The lyrics telop display system is equipped with an evaluation information detecting means 19 of outputting evaluation information by detecting information concerned with evaluation of a singer's voice in a singing section wherein the singer sings and transmissivity setting means 2 and 15 of setting the transmissivity of the lyrics telop low or high as the evaluation level of the evaluation information decreases or increases. Consequently, the evaluation level of the evaluation information decreases, the transmissivity of the lyrics telop is set to a low value, and the lyrics telop changes to be viewed well.
