Abstract:

To provide a karaoke system that simplifies sound processing and enables a user to recognize lyrics without viewing a screen even when the user is driving a vehicle.

The karaoke system comprises an auxiliary storage part 20 which stores musical score data including musical piece data and lyrics data in text form such as the MIDI form, a sequencer 1 which analyzes the musical score data, a speaker 5, and a display 3 displaying lyrics. The musical score data are analyzed by the sequencer 1 and corresponding lyrics are read aloud in synthesized voice through the speaker 5 before lyrics to be sung. When the system is mounted on a vehicle, a vehicle information gathering part 12 is provided and signals from the vehicle are collected and to control, specially, the display 3.
