To eliminate the need for an exchange of file bodies and to improve operability even if the grinding condition of human body driving element, such as keratin, and nails, differs by providing a transmission mechanism with two driving elements and disposing the first driving element in the axial direction of an appliance body and the second driving element in a direction intersecting with the first driving element.
A transmission mechanism 2 has two driving elements. The first driving element 6 is disposed in the axial direction of the appliance body 3 and the second driving element 9 in the direction intersecting with the first driving element 6. The first driving element 6 is driven back and forth and the second driving element 9 is rotationally driven. The top end in the axial direction of the appliance body 3 is provided with a file body 12 for reciprocation to be driven back and forth and a file body 11 for rotation to be rotationally driven is disposed in a direction intersecting with the reciprocation file body 12. When a motor 5 rotates, a face gear 10 rotates. The file body 11 for rotation mounted at a revolving shaft 36 is then rotated. Simultaneously the engaging part 38 of a reciprocating shaft 35 is vertically actuated by the rotation of an eccentric cam 37 of a face gear 10 and the file body 12 for reciprocation is driven back and forth.
