PURPOSE: To provide the subject remover releasable, after dried, without irritancy and injuring the skin, also capable of keeping pores of the skin clean with their recognizability suppressed because of its effectively keratinous plug- removing ability.

CONSTITUTION: The objective keratinous plug remover having the abovementioned advantages containing, as the essential ingredients, (A) pref. 0.01-70 (esp. 5-40)wt.% of a polymeric compound (pref. synthetic polymer compound) having salt-forming group such as carboxyl group, sulfonate residue, sulfate residue, phosphate residue, nitrate residue, amino group, or ammonium group and (B) pref. 0.5-10 (esp. 1-15)wt.% of a lubricant, pref. a glycerin derivative liquid at 20°C of the formula (Z1 and Z2 are such that one of them is YR2, the other being OH or YR3; R1, R2, R3 are each hydrocarbon group with the number of carbon atoms totaling 13-40, which may be substituted with silicone group; X and Y are each O or COO). The molecular weight of the ingredient A is pref. 10000-3000000 (esp. 100000-1000000).
