PURPOSE: To obtain a kerosene burner, never causing the shortage of fuel during timer operation.

CONSTITUTION: The title instrument is provided with a timer setting unit, commanding the starting of heating operation so as to obtain a set room temperature at a set time, an oil receiving pan 2, keeping fuel at a given level, a remaining oil amount detecting device 3, detecting a level A4, whereat remaining amount of oil in the oil receiving pan 2 is little, or a level B5, whereat the remaining amount of oil is much more than the level A14, and an oil supply warning means, warning the supply of oil. Upon normal operation, the detection is stored when the remaining oil amount detecting device 3 has detected the remaining oil amount of the level B5 while the oil supply warning means is operated when the remaining oil amount of the level A4 is detected. Upon timer operation, the shortage of fuel will never be caused during the operating time through the timer operation when the remaining oil amount detector 3 has detected the remaining oil amount of level B5 or it is stored in a memory since a control unit, operating the oil supply warning means, is incorporated into the title instrument.
