Title:
KEROSENE BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63318406
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent lift or backfire and shorten a time for shut down a flame, by a method wherein downward punching work is applied on the top of a fire pan cap along the outer periphery thereof so that a plurality of connecting parts remains while an air resisting plate, supported by the connecting parts, is provided below the substantially central part of the fire pan cap.

CONSTITUTION: A fire pan cap 10 is constituted of the support base part 14 for a combustion cylinder, which is provided with punch dowels 11, and a top part 15 for fixing the fire pan cap 10 to the inner tube of a wick while down- ward punching work is applied on the top 15 along the outer periphery thereof so that a plurality of connecting parts 16 remains and, thus, openings 17 are formed. A flat plate type air resisting plate 18, connected by the connecting parts 16, is formed at the lower part of the center of the fire pan cap. The air resisting plate 18, provided at the lower part of the center of the fire pan cap 10, is positioned at the lower part of the openings 17, therefore, it becomes hardly a resistance against the flow of air whereby the increase of the evaporating amount of kerosene from a wick 6 may be followed up sufficiently when the height of the wick is changed by one effort form the low condition to the high condition thereof.
