PURPOSE: To contrive to control the combustion rate of a kerosene stove in the wide range so far as abnormal combustion does not occur, by constituting a burner assembly in such a manner that the elevation of a wick can be performed not only by a motor, but also by a manually operated knob, and determining the position to which the wick is elevated by the manually operated knob as the lowest combustible position where abnormal combustion does not occur.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 4 is rotated when the ignition side of an operation switch 1 is closed, and a wick is elevated to the highest combustible position at the time when a wick elevating switch 7 is changed over and the motor 4 is stopped. The motor 4 is also rotated when the fire extinctive side of an operation switch 1 is closed, and the wick is positioned to a fire extinctive position when the wick descending switch 6 is changed over and the motor 4 is stopped. A small combustion switch 8 is designed to that the position of a manually operated knob 5 is to be the changing position of a contact point. A small combustion switch 8 is fitted on a rotating shaft 3, which changes the contact point by contacting to the manually operated knob 5 during rotating to descend the wick. A rack gear 12 is formed on the rotating shaft 3. The gear 12 is engaged with the pinion gear of the motor 4 to drive the rotating shaft 3. When a low position of a wick is selected by a changing switch 9, the motor 4 is stopped by the small combustion switch 8 and the wick can be descended down to the minimum combustible position.
