Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lend a key only to a permitted person without requiring external connection using a network.SOLUTION: A key box 1 has a configuration including, inside a frame 2 including an accommodation space 3 for a key X and an aperture 4 communicating with the space's lower end side: a reel 6 in which a cord-like object 5 is wound so that the cord-like object is capable of being withdrawn; a key holding tool 7 attached to the tip side of the cord-like object 5; lifting means 8 for vertically moving the key X connected to the key holding tool 7 between a state in which the key has been lifted up so that the key is accommodated in the accommodation space 3 and a state in which the key has been lowered through the aperture 4 to a position at which the key is exposed below the frame 2; a signal communication unit; and a controller 11. The controller 11, when a preset authentication signal is input from authentication means carried by a user to the signal communication unit, gives an instruction to the lifting means 8 to lower the key X suspended from the cord-like object 5 through the key holding tool 7, from the accommodation space 3 through the aperture 4 to a position at which the key is exposed below the frame 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
