Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a key cylinder that makes destruction of parts surrounding a fitting screw difficult, and prevents removal of the key cylinder even when the surrounding parts have been destroyed.SOLUTION: A fitting structure for a key cylinder 4 of a door handle device 10 includes: a base member penetration part 2f provided on a base member 2; a key cylinder 4 inserted into a key cylinder insertion part 2c from outside of a vehicle and through a fitting hole 8a formed on a door panel 8; a screw fitting part 4c provided on the key cylinder 4; a fitting screw 7 screwed into the screw fitting part 4c of the key cylinder 4 through the base member penetration part 2f, for fixing the key cylinder 4 to the base member 2; and a protective member 6 having a screw penetration part 6b through which the fitting screw 7 penetrates, fixed around the key cylinder insertion part 2c of the base member 2 for the key cylinder 4 with the fitting screw 7 penetrating through the screw penetration part 6b, and protecting at least the base member 2 around the key cylinder insertion part 2c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
