Abstract:
To provide a key distribution system capable of performing distribution management in a unified way to key data for contents decryption independently of a kind of encrypted contents comprising moving images, images, music, and characters or the like.
When reproducing and decrypting encrypted contents distributed by a contents distribution means, a user makes a distribution request to a key distribution means to distribute decryption key data via a communication means, and the key distribution means distributes the decryption key data corresponding to the encrypted contents on the basis of a distribution request of the decryption key data.
