Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key ridge processing apparatus that stabilizes and improves dimensional accuracy of key ridge processing without allowing variation in position relation between an object to be processed, a key, and a key ridge height setting part at the time of performing key ridge processing.SOLUTION: A key ridge processing apparatus includes: a holding part 10 for holding a key having a long blade part to be press-worked; a key ridge position setting part 20 for moving the holding part 10 in the longitudinal direction to set the blade part's position in the longitudinal direction; a key ridge height setting part 30 that is in contact with part of the holding part 10 and sets a key ridge height of the blade part; and a press working part 40 that uses the key ridge position setting part 20 and key ridge height setting part 30 to perform press working on the blade part to form a predetermined key ridge. The key ridge height setting part 30 directly receives a counterforce caused by the press working.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
