Abstract:
To eliminate a situation in which a user using a portable terminal as an electronic key must hold the electronic key in addition to the portable terminal.SOLUTION: Vehicle identification information on a vehicle, mechanical lock identification information on a mechanical lock mounted on the vehicle, and key form data on a mechanical key to be used in combination with the mechanical lock are previously stored in connection with one another. Information on a plurality of manufacturing bases capable of manufacturing the mechanical key is also stored previously. In accepting an acquisition request for the mechanical key by communicating with a portable terminal of a user of the vehicle, the vehicle identification information stored in the portable terminal is acquired and the key form data on the mechanical key is identified from the vehicle identification information. Additionally, on the basis of delivery place information indicating a delivery place for the mechanical key, a manufacturing base for the mechanical key is determined. Then the key form data and the delivery place information are transmitted to the manufacturing base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
